Job Title: Club Shop Orgainiser
Overview: Your Rugby Club is seeking a committed and organised volunteer to lead our Club Shop. This essential role involves overseeing all aspects of the shop’s operation, from stock management to planning opening times, to providing high-demand items like club clothing, rugby essentials, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Organise and maintain stock levels, ensuring essential items like gum shields and club clothing are always available.
- Customer Engagement: Gather feedback from club members on items they’d like to see stocked, aligning offerings with member needs and interests.
- Sales Strategy: Help identify popular, high-margin products that will generate revenue for the club.
- Volunteer Coordination: Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to assist with shop operations during busier times.
- Operational Planning: Set and manage shop hours that suit club events and member availability.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in retail or customer service (a plus, but not essential)
- Ability to manage volunteers and work as part of a team
- Passion for supporting the club and enhancing the member experience
- Decision making by working closely with the Club Committee
