Billericay U14s worked and tackled their socks off today against a Witham team who were blessed with some very strong and powerful boys who ultimately proved very difficult to stop once they had the ball in hand.
The Billericay scrum was again in excellent form controlled well at the front by Archie and at the back by Louis. Scrum half Conor fed in accurately and we only lost one scrum all match against another pack with a distinct weight advantage - well done Bees !
The Billericay tackling was often excellent but with the size of some of the Witham boys, the need for getting lower in the tackle was even more important and the ones where we weren't able to make a quick breakdown proved to be costly.
The improvements in the energy levels, the effort and the fighting spirit since the last home game were evident.
Keep on working boys but keep on enjoying it even more.
